The European Union Special Representative for Human Rights Eamon (AY-MON) Gilmore has called on Ugandan authorities to bring an end to acts of torture, extrajudicial killings, arbitrary arrest and detention of Ugandans. Gilmore has met president Yoweri Museveni to discuss a range of human rights concerns including torture and extrajudicial killings in the country. He addressed journalists in Kampala.
