The chairman and Party Leader of the APRC, Hon. Fabakary Tombong Jatta acting under Executive Powers vested on him by the party’s Constitution, and in consultation with the National Executive wishes to inform the general public that with effect from Friday 29th June, 2018, he has relieved Mr. Momodou Alieu Bah of his position as APRC Deputy Party Leader and his seat as a member of the National Executive Committee of the APRC party.

In light of the above, Hon. Fabakary Tombong Jatta acting on the same Executive Powers wishes to inform the general public of the following appointment: Mr. Ousman Rambo Jatta has been appointed as 1st Deputy Party Leader of the APRC effective Friday 29th June, 2018.

The changes are necessitated to redress the act of some party members whose behaviour pose threat of jeopardizing the harmony and unity of the party. ‘By this missive, I therefore urge all supporters of the APRC to be aware of the change and continue to exercise their loyalty and unreserved support to the Executive.

However, anyone found giving or addressing issues of the party on any media house without the consent or authority of the APRC Party Leader, will be severely dealt with.

I thank you all and pray that Allah continue to shower his blessings on all Gambians and the world at large.’
