Kali-Ku, a Norway-based charitable organization last Wednesday donated learning and other materials to the Little Mango Nursery School in Madiana village, Kombo North District, West Coast Region, which include books, pencils, school bags, used clothes, jerseys, among other items.

“The partnership with Kali-Ku started a few years ago but we have since benefited a lot from them”, he said, adding that the charitable organization also helped renovate and fence the school, provided them health care as well as assisted with the school feeding programme.
“All these were challenges for us and we thank the Almighty and Kali-Ku for their quick intervention”, he further said.
Danso called on the villagers, especially the parents, to educate their children since children are the future leaders. He also called on the parents to participate in school development activities.
Speaking on behalf of the parents, Banna Njie, thanked Kali-Ku for the support being rendered to various communities in the Gambia. She urged the beneficiaries to judiciously use the donated items for their purpose.
