Senegal President Announces New Cabinet

Senegal’s President Macky Sall has conducted a major reshuffle and announced a new Cabinet composed of 39 ministers.














The new members appointed are Ismaila Madior Fall, Ange Marie Manga, Samba Sy, Mam Thierno Dieng, Pap Gorgui Ndong, Moustapha Lo Diatta, Aissatou Sofie Gladima, and Eva Marie Cole Seck, who was dropped last week in the Cabinet, was appointed yesterday as Minister of State and Special Adviser to President Macky Sall.

The ministers he dropped included Mankeur Ndiaye, Foreign Affairs; Mansour Sy, Labour; Viviane Bampassy, Public Service Commission; Khadim Ndiaiye, NEPAD; Yakham Mbaye, Communication; and Dienne Faye,  Water Resources.

The new cabinet, announced last week, is composed of 39 ministers and are listed below:
