The National Assembly member for Upper Fulladu West in Central River Region (CRR), Sanna Jawara has said that he is very optimistic over the victory of the party leader of the United Democratic Party (UDP) lawyer Ousainou Darboe in CRR come December 4th.

“I have always heard that people of CRR South are not UDP supporters and I agree due to the way things were happening during Jammeh’s time and the outcome of the results but the outcome of the parliamentary election which made me an MP is clear evidence and testimony that UDP dominates here now,” Jawara said.

According to him, “the percentage I had in the parliamentary elections surpassed 50% and since then the work I have done here has given a great boost to my people which is growing on daily basis. Today I can proudly say that my expectation within the community for the December 4th election has gone beyond 70%”.

“I urge you people of Fulladu to be careful with politicians who would come within these two weeks to buy your votes and integrity.

“Some will come to divide the union that our forefathers have built within us, and some of them will want to use tribal politics to divide us. UDP is here for every tribe and for every religion that is in the country,” MP Jawara said.

“You all should always remember that we do almost everything together. We attend each other’s weddings, funerals and even intermarry.

“From my heart I plead with you to not give politicians the chance to divide us for their selfish interests. Our union is stronger than anything else they say to take away our unity,” he stated.

He went on to remind the people of Fulladu that the last time they had development from the government was before their party leader Lawyer Ousainou Darboe and Amadou Sanneh left the government.
